14 Day Ugandan Classic Safari
Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1
Our guide/ driver representative will pick you up from either Entebbe Airport / any of your booked accommodation /Rwandan Airport. You will be given an overview of the up coming trip.
Here the client can choose either to start from Rwanda and thereafter we will drive to the southwestern part of Uganda through hilly areas of Rwanda and through the tea growing fields up to Rwandan border(Gatuna)
After clearing our passports we will proceed to a near by Ugandan border (Kabale, Katuna) .
After we have been through with our passports, we will continue through ever green terraced hill and live stork farming up to Kabale City .
We will have a stop over for a superb lunch and quencher our selves .
Thereafter we will get back to our safari vehicle and drive to the nearby Museum at Kwanzi Guest House, this is all about the Bakiga culture and get to know how they used to live in the past.
From there we will continue to a pretty lake Bunyonyi, we will have a stop over for the spectacular views of the lake. Over night at Kyahugye Eco Resort (Island). Relax for a few days at pretty Lake Bunyonyi depending on client’s program.
Day 2
Our canoe trekking guide will meet you at the Lodge and take you into some of the highlights about the trek. lake Bunyonyi encircles 29 islands of which some are historical as your guide will be informing you.
Here you will go beyond into the communities and needy schools surrounding the lake and share experience with them, these communities are really needy and this is the way we try to make sure the dollar reach the person who need it most .
Day 3
Free time at the lodge. This lake is free from any predator, Berriherzea free, so safe to swim because the water is safe and clean.
This is the second deepest to Tanganyika in the whole of Africa, you must be well skilled about swimming. It’s approximately 900m deep.
Day 4
Our guide/driver representative will pick you up very early morning get back to your safari vehicle and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the most moving experience Mountain Gorilla tracking.
Depending on how long you take with the amazing endangered Mountain Gorillas, we will get back to our safari vehicle and proceed to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth (ISHASHA sector) well known for its famous Tree climbing Lions.
We will drive through the forest as you feel the breath taking and through terraced hills and valleys, Tea growing activities, Banana plantation, Fresh fruits from those fertile soils up to Kihihi which is the nearby town bordering the Ishasha sector park.
Drive through the park as we do the game drive up to the lodge, we will reach late and just check-in your booked accommodation, over night @the River Lodge
Day 5
Early start for game drive to Northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National park.
Depending on the time of arrival we can either do an evening game drive or Boat Cruise along Kazinga channel. Thereafter you will check in your booked accommodation. Over night at Bush Lodge.
Day 6
Early start for game drive in Kasenyi, here we expect to see Elephants, Buffalos, Antelopes, Bush bucks and depending on the luck of the day you might come over Lions, Hyenas and leopards and many other small animals.
The same afternoon you will navigate the tropical channels teaming up with hippos and crocs (Mweya peninsular) along Kanzinga channel.
Day 7
After breakfast we will transfer to KIBALE National Park, driving through Kasese town and the local communities up to the Crater Lakes, the views are incredible.
Here you can do a nature walk in the Bigodi wetlands in search of some birds which are endemic and some other primates , this will mark the end of your day trip .
We shall go back to your booked accommodation for dinner. Over night Kibale forest camp.
Day 8
Early start ready for the drive to the forest where you will be met by Uganda Wildlife Ranger guides waiting to give you briefing about the up coming chimpanzee tracking experience.
From there ,after tracking we will drive back to your booked accommodation and have lunch, you can either relax or any other (optional activity)
Day 9
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. This is Uganda’s best known and biggest nature reserve, and it’s impressive animal populations and superb activities are further augmented by its location, which straddles the Victoria Nile as it makes its way through multiple Rapids and water falls.
We will drive through Fort Portel town, and shall have a stop over for lunch in Hoima town.
After lunch we will drive through Masindi town up to the Murchison Falls National Park gate.
Driving through Budongo Forest Park as you feel the breath up to the Murchison Falls National Park where we will reach late and just check-in your booked accommodation. over night Red Chilli
Day 10
Early morning game drive and afternoon you will have a Boat Cruise along the Nile to the bottom of the falls as you continue to hike to the top of falls.
The most powerful falls. After this fascinating experience, you will meet your guide/driver ready at the top of the falls to pick up and bring you back to your booked accommodation for dinner and sleep.
Day 11
You can decide to do early morning game drive or chimpanzee tracking in the near by Budongo forest (optional) over night Budongo forest.
Day 12
We will wake up very early morning have breakfast, there after you get briefing for chimpanzee tracking. After tracking you will get back to your safari vehicle and proceed to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Over night Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.
Day 13
We will wake up very early morning, have breakfast and there after ,we have briefing about the up coming fascinating Rhino tracking experience.
You will pack your bags and get back to your safari vehicle and proceed to Kampala where you will reach late and just check-in your booked accommodation.
Day 14
our guide /driver representative will take you for a city tour where you will go beyond into the Buganda culture and visit the Kasubi tombs where the four Kings are buried. When the trip comes to an end, the clients decide off in Kampala or Entebbe airport.
Note:This safari could be vice versa and start from Entebbe Airport to Murchison Falls National Park and then continue up to the southwestern part of Uganda and go back through Rwandan Airport.
